Make a Pointe Shoe Wreath With Us this Month!
We are turning retired pointe shoes into a beautiful wreath to celebrate the season! Add your pointe shoes to our festive commemorative wreath by dropping them off to the office by Monday, December 13th! Shoes may be donated by current and alumni dancers as well as our community of BDSOPA families.
Fa-La-Lollies: Getting Recital Ready
Our annual holiday concert--the Fa-La-Lollies--is just around the corner and preparations are underway! The Fa-La-Lollies will be held on Sunday, December 12th, at 1pm at T.E. Middle School. If you have placed a ticket order, your tickets are ready for pick-up and can be paid with cash or check. (Tickets are $15 in advance/$18 at the door.) Advance ticket orders must be paid by Friday, December 10th.
Dress rehearsals will take place during each dancer's regular class time the week of Monday, December 6th. Dancers should arrive in their regular dance clothes and bring their entire costume (including headpieces, tights, and accessories). Students must wear their hair as they will for the recital but are not required to wear make-up for the dress rehearsal.
We look forwarding to dancing, singing, and being merry with you on December 12th at the Fa-La-Lollies!
BDSOPA Follies 2022: It's Costume Time!
Our annual concert, the BDSOPA Follies, will be taking place this year on Saturday, June 18th, at the Haverford School and costume orders are underway!
Please make sure you have paid your costume fee so that we may place an order for your child's costume. It is essential that we order costumes well in advance to ensure that they are made--and delivered!--in time for our performers. You may pay for costumes this year with cash, check, or credit/debit card. If you would like to pay for your child's costume with a card on file, please contact the office by phone or email.

Recap: The BDSOPA GratiTUTU
This November, we turned our thankfulness into a classic--wearable!--dance garment! Each student wrote or drew something that they're grateful for and, after hours of time and miles of tape, it became our first-ever BDSOPA GratiTUTU!
The GratiTUTU serves as a great reminder that we create the fabric of our community, and we are so thankful for each of you! Check out our our Instagram to see both the process and the final result, and see the BDSOPA GratiTUTU the next time you're at the studio!
Looking Ahead: BDSOPA Summer Session 2022
It may seem far off as we clutch our hot chocolates, but our summer plans are already heating up! The BDSOPA Summer Session is packed with exciting programs for dancers and singers of all interests and experiences ages 3-18. From weekly core classes, to mini-camps, and even a full-day musical theater camp, we've got so much in store for this summer. Keep your eyes and ears open for more details coming soon!
