Halloween Fun at BDSOPA: Trunk-or-Treat!
All BDSOPA students are invited to to a fun-filled afternoon of treats and tunes! Wear your costume and trick-or-treat safely from car-to-car.
Date: Saturday, October 30th
Time: 3pm-5pm
Parents: We need your help! Please click below to volunteer as a Trunker. What's a Trunker? Trunkers decorate their trunks and pass out candy!
BDSOPA Fa-La-Lollies Holiday Show!
What better way to celebrate student progress and spread holiday cheer than with a holiday showcase? We've found that our students are eager to get onstage after just a few months in class--and so the Fa-La-Lollies was born. It's a cherished BDSOPA holiday tradition that's fun for the whole family.
Students in eligible classes will prepare a short holiday piece for their friends and family! In an effort to keep participating in this showcase as simple and low-cost as possible, we select costumes using dance basics that you can keep wearing to class after the performances. Families pay one fee that includes 3 tickets, a costume, and a holiday photo! Families will be able to purchase additional tickets. Click below to sign-up for the Fa-La-Lollies this year! BDSOPA Follies: Saturday, June 18th, 2022
The BDSOPA Follies is our annual dance recital! It is a fantastic opportunity for all of our performers to show off their hard work over the school year, and is a highlight of the spring for all who participate and attend. Unless otherwise noted, all classes work to prepare a dance for this recital.
The Follies will take place on Saturday, June 18th at the Haverford School. We will have a dress rehearsal at the Haverford School on Friday, June 17th.
All students must fill out and return our Follies Recital Agreement and Costume Form by Monday, November 1st. You can find this form by clicking below or stop by the office to pick up a copy. Parents are responsible for measuring their child for costumes. Payment for costumes is due along with the Costume Form. You may pay for costumes this year with cash, check, or credit/debit card! Bring a Friend to Dance Class!
We're extending our usual "Bring a Friend" month from September through November! Any week through the end of November, you're welcome to bring a friend to join a dance class for free.
Here's how it works:
Bring a friend to dance class! They'll get a FREE drop-in and you both receive a little surprise at the end of class OR
Spread the word and make sure your friend lets us know that you sent them.
When your friend registers, you'll both receive 50% off of one dance class for your friend's first month!
You can share this discount with as many friends as you like and stack your savings up to one month of class tuition. Dancers must be new to BDSOPA in order to be eligible for this referral program.
