Gold team pre-professional program
The Betsy Daily School of Performing Arts Pre-Professional Program, also known as "The Gold Team,"
offers a multi-faceted performing arts experience unlike any other. This audition-only program provides the most promising, dedicated dancers and singers rigorous training, opportunities,
and access to intensives, workshops, and conventions both in-studio and across the country,
preparing artists to entering the performing arts industry.
Graduates of the Gold Team are known for being among the most versatile, well-rounded, and professional emerging artists.
Gold Team Dancers train in Ballet, Tap, Jazz (Classic, Musical Theater, and Street styles),
Acrobatics, Ballroom, Hip Hop, Lyrical, and Contemporary.
Gold Team Vocalists train in Art Song, Musical Theater, Pop/Rock/Jazz,
Music Theory & Ear Training, and Songwriting & Recording.
As a result, BDSOPA alumni have enjoyed careers in the performing arts industry with organizations including:

The Gold Team is under the direction of Betsy Daily, whose many performing credits include dancing on the Steel Pier in Atlantic City, on the Ted Mack show at the Ed Sullivan Theater.
A master teacher/choreographer who has worked with greats like Frank Hatchett, her choreography has been featured at the historic Joyce Theater, on live and nationally-syndicated television, and has won many Industry Dance Award nominations as well as Choreography, Showmanship, Technique and Costuming awards.
Gold Team graduates also thrive in collegiate programs. Our students stand out throughout application and audition processes,
and their rich, diverse performing experiences set them apart and provide invaluable life skills, including collaboration, grace under pressure, and perserverence.

Our nationally-recognized dance company also attends several competitions each year.
Once accepted into our program and, Gold Team Dancers participate in all choreography
set for their level, permitted they train in the applicable style.
Many of our students elect to enroll in a mentorship within the program, during which they receive weekly individualized training in their style of choice, and highly-bespoke choreography.
The Gold Team Vocalists are directed by Ashley Daily, who holds a Masters Degree in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy from the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University. Ashley recently performed her original song, "Hosting the Holidays," at the live and nationally-syndicated 6ABC/Dunkin' Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade, performed atop a float in the 250th Navy & Marine Corps. Anniversary Parade, and has lent her voice to a multitude of projects ranging from National Geographic films to original operatic works.
