She earned her Masters degree in Vocal Performance with a concentration in Vocal Pedagogy at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University where she studied under world-renowned soprano, Elizabeth Futral. While at Peabody, Ashley founded and received a Peabody LAUNCH Grant for Getting in the Groove, an organization whose mission is to help neurologically-diverse children enjoy live music events.

In addition to her classical studies, Ashley is adept at performing and teaching a wide range of vocal styles.  She is sought after as a contemporary commercial vocalist and recording and performing artist whose original music can be streamed from all major platforms.

Ashley has over ten years of teaching experience.  She is known for fiercely advocating for her students and providing personalized lessons relevant to their needs while teaching fundamental concepts and skills. Ashley's voice students have been accepted into competitive music programs, have been nationally recognized, and have performed for thousands. Her students range from beginner to professional but all learn her favorite lesson: Let your music be led by curiosity, fueled by the need to express yourself, and practiced mindfully with grace and grit.
