Lyrical/Contemporary
At Betsy Daily School of Performing Arts, our goal is to provide the highest quality performing arts education. We offer Lyrical/Contemporary classes for students ages 8 through adult. For information on classes for students younger than 8, please refer to our BDSOPA Dancers 3-6 section.
During the initial classes, the instructor will carefully observe all dancers to ensure they are placed in the most appropriate level. The instructor along with our Founder/Director are dedicated to providing excellent education and fostering a passion for dance. We look forward to seeing you in class!
Lyrical and Contemporary are expressive evolutions of both Ballet and Jazz styles of dance. At Betsy Daily School of Performing Arts, dancers will learn to share stories and portray emotions through movement. Dancers will improve flexibility, balance, and musicality while building on a strong foundation of Ballet and Jazz.

Level 1: Beginner (1-2 years of training)
Level 2: Intermediate Beginner (2-3 years of training)
