Imani Griffith

Hip Hop

Imani Griffith is a native of Queens, NY. She attended The
University of the Arts, earning her B.F.A in Dance in 2018 and her
M.F.A in 2022. During her studies at UArts, she studied authentic
Hip Hop/ Street Dance forms via the “Clark Method” created by her
professors and mentors Dinita “Queen Dinita” Clark and Kyle
“JustSole” Clark. Upon graduating in 2018, she became a principal
dancer for Just Sole! Street Dance Theater Company. She performed
at PA Ballet’s “Shut Up and Dance”, Koresh’s “Come Together
Festival” and at The International Association Of Blacks in Dance
Festival. Imani entered and placed at prominent street dance
competitions including “Ladies of Hip Hop Festival”,“Step Ya
Game Up”and Red Bull "Dance Your Style”. Currently, she is an
Adjunct Professor at West Chester University and Drexel University
teaching Hip Hop and Street Dance Forms via the “Clark Method”.
