Asha Yates

Originally from Washington DC, Asha Yates is a Philadelphia-based and recent graduate of Temple University where she received a BFA in dance. Primarily trained in urban and commercial dance styles, Asha has also trained in traditional concert and African Diasporic styles, as well as fire and ariel performance. With nearly 10 years of choreographic experience, Asha has had the chance to showcase her work most recently online and at the Conwell Theater where she’s also performed in various student and repertory concerts. This year Asha is performing with Brian Sander’s company “JUNK” as a part of the 2022 Philadelphia Fringe Festival.
